Upon entry to the WAICF – World AI Cannes Festival today, I found myself in the epicenter of innovation, surrounded by the Riviera’s breathtaking elegance, a vivid embodiment of the blend between cutting-edge technology and timeless luxury we champion at Carlton International. Our journey reflects a commitment to both the sophistication of our properties and the innovative spirit that defines them.
Among the illustrious tech players, Intel Corporation, my former employer and a primary sponsor, unveiled the creative fusion of AI technology at their entrance booth. Transforming visitors into superheroes, complete with a souvenir print, this experience symbolized the transformative power of AI, a force we’re poised to leverage in elevating our luxury real estate offerings in the French Riviera. This initiative exemplifies our ongoing dedication to integrating advanced technologies that enhance both the value and appeal of our properties.
Venturing deeper into the salon, the vibrant energy was palpable. With television interviews underway and new products on display, the Alpes Maritimes logo alongside “Côte d’Azur France Terre d’IA” and “La French Tech Côte d’Azur Région Sud” prominently underscored Cannes’ stature beyond its iconic festivals. Emerging as a hub for technological and real estate innovation, this region, often compared to Silicon Valley, especially around Sophia Antipolis, set a compelling stage for the day’s revelations.
Latitudo 40 and AI’s Role in Real Estate
In this backdrop of bustling innovation, I encountered Latitudo 40, based out of Napoli. Manned by two passionate young innovators, their booth explored AI’s transformative role in urban planning and real estate, envisioning cityscapes that extend beyond aesthetics to enhance longevity and quality of life—a vision deeply aligned with our ethos at Carlton International.
Ascending to the second level, the vast terrace offered a stunning view as the morning fog cleared, revealing the bustling harbor and the Croisette’s opulence. This scene, mirroring the “luxurious” lifestyle we advocate, highlighted AI’s potential to not only refine architectural marvels but enrich lives.
At this juncture, the confluence of technology and luxury was unmistakably showcased by HP and Maserati with their Formula 1 car display. A nod to the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix, this spectacle symbolized the high-octane fusion of innovation with the elite world of racing, an embodiment of the exhilaration and elegance our real estate ventures in the French Riviera promise.

An unexpected reunion on my way out of the show with our dynamic marketing and brand development team, Audrey Brahic, Simone Wohnhaas, and our founder, Philip Weiser, transformed the day into an extraordinary collective endeavor.
